Pastors Day at the Capitol, Thursday, February 12th!!

Just four days of session this week in Pierre.  We now know the bills that we'll be addressing and its no small undertaking.  The key is effectively communicating throughout the halls of the capitol, and having them hear from people by phone, email, fax, or in person, etc.

One of the best events we host each year is the "Pastors Day at the Capitol." This year's is next Thursday, February 12th., in Pierre, SD.  Already there are 39 pastors coming from around the state!!!  It's an opportunity for legislators to hear from some to the state's most important leaders.

Upcoming:
SB195
- On Tuesday, the Senate Judiciary Committee will hear testimony on SB195.  This bill will "gut/end/destroy" our current law which protects human embryos, from Embryonic Stem Cell Research.  Ironically, the only advances in stem cell research have come from adult stem cells.  To date the score 73-0; Adult Stem Cell Documented Cures vs. Embryonic Stem Cell Cures.
