Not until the the filing deadline comes and goes do we now 100% what bills we'll be dealing with during the session.  There's usually a sense that certain bills will be filed, and the rumor mill doesn't hurt in that regard.

SB195 - We OPPOSE A bill by Senator BJ Nesselhuff that'll undo our current law protecting human life from Embryonic Stem Cell Research. 

SB191 - We OPPOSE this bill creating Government School for 3 and 4 year olds.  This bill would harm private businesses, parents families, it expands government at a time when K-12 funding is not being met. Government should never seek to replace parents/family.

HB 1149 - We SUPPORT this bill that amends our current law, to make it more 'upstart college friendly.'  This is good for Christian Private College upstarts.

HB 1262 - We SUPPORT this bill that creates a paternity registry for men that believe they may be the father of a child.  33 states have this "Putative Registry."  It makes the adoption process work more effectively for each party involved.  Our interest here is to promote 'adoption.' 

SB134 - We OPPOSE this bill that would require insurance companies cover all contraceptions and devices.

HB 1156 - We SUPPORT this bill to create a study on Human Trafficking in South Dakota.
